Why these are free
Everything on this page solves a small problem in a few seconds. They exist because the same questions come up constantly when you are organising your own material: what tempo is this, what key is it in, what will sit next to it, how long is four bars.
The analysis tools read audio locally in your browser. The calculators and theory tools need no audio at all — they are exact arithmetic, so the same input always gives the same answer, and nothing is estimated by a model.
