One sound. New directions.

AI proposes possibilities. The artist decides where the music goes. A Direction is how that decision gets recorded — you keep the fragment worth keeping and branch from it instead of rolling the dice again.

Step by step

How iteration works in the app

  1. 01

    Generate from your Sound

Start with a prompt, optional lyrics, mood, structure, tempo and a creativity setting that decides how far from your material the model may wander.

  2. 02

    Listen and choose

Results appear in your generations feed with a waveform player. Most will not be interesting. You are listening for one detail worth pursuing, not a finished song.

  3. 03

    Branch it

Create variations of the generation you chose, or extend it to hear where the section goes next. Each branch stays related to what you selected.

  4. 04

    Keep what survives

Favourite it, download it, and file it into a project with the lyrics and versions that belong to the same work.

Why it matters

Exploration versus random generation

Rolling the dice

  • Every result is independent of the last.
  • Good moments disappear when you regenerate.
  • Prompt tweaking substitutes for creative decisions.
  • Volume of output, not progress.

Following a Direction

  • Each step starts from material you chose.
  • Promising fragments are preserved and developed.
  • Your judgement drives the path, the model supplies options.
  • Sessions accumulate into something usable.

In practice

What artists use Directions for

Second verses

Extend a section that works to hear plausible continuations before writing one yourself.

Alternative arrangements

Vary the same idea to hear it with different energy or instrumentation emphasis.

A/B decisions

Keep two branches of the same fragment and choose between them with fresh ears later.

Breaking a block

When a demo has stalled, generate around it rather than staring at the arrangement.

Catalog exploration

Ask what an older era of your material sounds like pushed somewhere new.

Pre-production

Sketch options quickly before committing studio time to one of them.

Position

The philosophy

The reason ANYANO ends in exploration rather than a download button is that generated material is not the product — your decisions are. A Sound trained on your catalog can propose plausible next moves indefinitely. Choosing which of those moves is yours is the part no model does for you.
