How this works
Every figure here is arithmetic over the decoded samples, so the same file always returns the same numbers. Container facts such as bit depth come from the file header rather than being inferred, which is why lossy formats show them as not stated.
The checks below the levels are the ones worth running before you commit a file to a dataset, a master or a release: clipping, DC offset, channel balance, whether a stereo file is really stereo, and whether the top end was ever thrown away by a codec.
None of this decides whether the audio is good. It tells you what is in the file so you can make that call yourself.
