How this works
Most samples fail for one of two reasons: the tempo needs a stretch large enough to smear the transients, or the harmony sits a semitone or two away from the track and nothing quite settles. Both are measurable before you commit, which is all this tool does.
The tempo side reports the exact percentage change needed, plus the half-time and double-time readings. A loop that looks 40 BPM away is often perfectly in time once read the other way, and that single check saves a lot of unnecessary stretching.
The harmonic side uses Camelot neighbours rather than a yes-or-no answer, so when the keys do not match you can see which key the sample would need to move to. Rights still matter more than any of this: only use material you own or are cleared to use.
