How this works
Camelot notation exists so DJs can compare keys at a glance. The number places the key on the circle of fifths; the letter says whether it is minor (A) or major (B). Codes with the same number are relatives and share all seven notes.
The conversion is exact both ways because it is a fixed mapping, not an estimate. What is an estimate is the key itself when it came from detection software — including ours.
